.....I write. Long time gone, I wanted to be a writer. Now I'd really prefer to be an Artist- so all these stories won't leave me in peace; until I work them out- thus robbing time and energy that- in theory, at least- I could be drawing or painting.
.....I'm not sure. I'm right handed. Traditional touch typing has always turned me off. Found a neat website, about one-handed typing. I decided that I wanted to type left-handed. My writing started to improve dramatically shortly therafter. Do you think that my left hand is a significantly better writer than my right- for some obscure reason?
.....My left hand can't draw any better than the right; though it has a noticably different style- not radically, but noticably. Left handed drawing is much less under my concious control. It takes longer to get in the zone. The work goes slower; and the feeling- almost, but not quite exactly like my left hand has a mind of it's own, weirds me out somewhat. As a consequence, I seldom draw left handed.
.....Can't write worth a diddly left-handed; but then learning to write legibly right handed took many years; and lots of remedial tutoring. Even today I print. Forgot most cursive decades ago.
....I really admire Edgar Rice Burroughs; liked Hemingway, without worshipping him. Loved the writings of Elmer Keith and Skeeter Skelton. Walter John Williams; some of Heinlein; much of Hunter S Thompson. Read and reread Thoreau. Kerrouac- hmmmm- a few others. T.J.Bass...
.....I'll go to work posting my novel that I'm working on. That should give some idea.

.....BIG PS- I strongly believe that if yu expect others to comment on your stories in some detail; then you should reciprocate- but I'm working on two novels at once; an occasional short story; and post regularly on several forums. I won't be worth diddly-squat as a critic; until I finish my novels- fair warning.
