Hey-lo peoples! I hate saying peoples, since it actually people, but I still always say it. It's like my sister with sweet pickles, she hates 'em, but she can't stop eating them.
Now, my name, fake os course, is Yuliya Vanera Dusha Chasy Bihaty Povitria Pryroda Misiats Nebasnyy Dukhkin'. It's all Ukrainian, which, by the way, I am. I am one full quarter Ukrainian, and not just Ukrainian, I'm related to the Cossacks! The Ukrainian warriors known for their horsemanship!
Okay, my favorite animal is the horse. To me, nothing it greater than horses. For me, horses aren't the most important thing, but they're right up there with oxygen and water! You know...I actually think horses are only second to love. They would be number one, but if love wasn't most important, then I couldn't love horses. So there. I really like all animals. I'm a huge animal activist. My other faovrite animals are peregrine falcons, caracals, wolves, elk, cheetahs, big cats in general, golden eagles, llamas, goats, and sheep.
My faovrite songs...waaaay too many, my top two are probably Caribbean Blue and Mr. Blue Sky. I like Enya, ELO, Tegan and Sara, Elliot Smith, David Bowie, Lord of the Rings soundtracks, Bjork, Lorena Mckennitt, Indigo Girls, Floggin' Molly, and lots of other stuff.
Favorite movies are Pride & Prejudice, Lord of the Rings, Clue, The Beauty of Horses, Serenity, Seabiscuit, Rainbow Brite and the Star Stealers, lots of other stuff, but most of all...*drumroll*...THE SWAN PRINCESS!
Oh yeah, my favorite color is blue and green and silver and gold all mixed together in a swirly mix...then just silver.
I like lots of things. Digimon, Firefly, Rainbow Brite, storms, stormchasers, the elements, wind, air, tornadoes, writing(duh!), poetry, horses, horses, horses, cloaks, Jeeves and Wooster, so many things...it all comes out at different times.
My favorite books are Stravaganza: City of Stars, The Little White Horse(much better than it sounds), Gypsy Girl, Chosen by a Horse, Pride & Prejudice, A Hat Full of Sky, The Sisters Grimm series, the Phantom Stallion series, the Wild Horse Island series, sooo many...
My favorite authors are Terri Farley, Jan Austen, Elizabeth Goudge, Michael Buckley and Mary Hoffman.
How did I get started in writing? I really don't know. I've always been telling stories. I still have the little books I made in 1st grade about the pixie named Pixie and the fiary named Fairy who were best friends, and Fairy was a princess. They were flap books, and I still want to write those stories...just with grammar and punctuation. I've always had stories in my head. At first, my first big story was just a game I made up and played at recess, then I decided to make it a story. It's changed, believe me. 'Mist Land?' What was I thinking? 'Myst Land.' Better...but still...'Mystian?' Uh...eww? 'Mystonia!' Perfect!
My inspiration is usually music, animals, or quotes. They're all so powerful and binding that you just HAVE to write.
My penicl's name is Jane Austen and my computer is Cyrus. My main journal is Evening Star(which is also my favorite girl name).
Don't ask me how many journals I have...there are soooo many.
I think that's enough of me. Well, whatever, and remember, the giant magenta tapirs are going to get you if you grow 43 bright yellow nose hairs tonight...we're watching you........
