The cats had come from far away looking for a safe haven, away from the greed and shadows of the world. They took the forbidden portal to the world of Mists. It was said that this world turned friends into enemies, but the refugees saw none of these consistences. The Cats broke into large groups and each clamed a piece of land. Those who had an affinity for illusions chose to live in the open under the sky. They became known as Sunshine Phasers. They had learned and passed down the secret of teleporting. Those who couldn't live without the trees chose to live in the forest and held the secret of levitation. They became known as the Moonlight Stalkers.
Now there are those who are unhappy with the way their lives are turning out. These are hidden and few but the winds of war are passing over the valley.
