Kalikoros, the most powerful and influential of the vampire clans of old, is home to Lord Damon Elezar, one of the few friendly vampires to be found. He is no warlord, though tactical expertise and combat knowledge has earned him the right to remain seated as the leader of the clan. His subjects find him a strong leader who keeps them out of trouble but retains enough power to defend the clan if need be.
The city surrounds the Kalikoros castle outside its walls, for miles all around. For hundreds of years, they’ve been on top, the largest clan of all. However, the other clans have grown jealous, and they want the power that the lead clan currently has. They want to destroy the line of the Elezars and take over. The main opposing clan is the Shayelle Clan, a very influential and war-prone clan that holds indirect control over quite a few of the smaller clans.
The Blood Gardens’ waters will once again flow in crimson waves, after ages of peace that seem to have been only time for the other clans to plan their attacks.
It is in the Blood Gardens, that the Lord Elezar created a pendant that represented the clan of which he led, made of his own blood, a serpent swerving in and out of a scorched vampire skull. Thanks to the vampiric blood from which it was made, it grants its holder a certain amount of power beyond their own, the perfect heirloom.
