Look Up
Hey you
There’s a time and place for mourning
Everything that’s wrong
But not now, not here
Today, you need to look up
The suns shining out its heart
The sky’s a Caribbean blue
A slight breeze cools the backs of our necks
Save that mourning for a bad day
Today, you need to look up
Wildflowers like stars in the sky
Are sprinkled on the grass
Great trees flow smoothly from the ground
This morning is not a bad day
Today, you need to look up
Animals run forever free
Playing, chasing, running
Pounding onto the grass
This could never be a bad day
Today, you need to look up
Look up to the sky
Look up to the stars
Look up to the sun and moon
Look up to the leaves
Look up and dream
Hey you
